Rules For Listing

To promote a safe, fair, and enjoyable trading experience, Quarkr has established a set of rules and policies for item listings. Learning about Quarkr's listing policies before you list an item will help you to avoid unintentionally breaking rules. Violations of these policies may result in a range of actions, including:

- Listing cancellation

- Limits on account privileges

- Account suspension

- Disqualification from all Quarkr promotions

We will inform you via email or telephone when you violate "Quarkr Rules For Listings".

- List Items In Inappropriate Categories
E.g: Necklace should be placed in the category of Jewellery & Watches, instead, it's in Clothing, Shoes & Accessories

- Abuse Of Keywords
E.g: You are selling MP3, yet you are using MP4, IPOD, Apple as item keywords.

- Abuse Of Brand Names
E.g: Using another company's brand name for your own products; using another company's brand name in your internet domain name; using another company's identification in your item while that company does not provide such item.

- Make Comparison With Other Items
E.g: "Buy a Rolex Gold Watch at Swatch-Price! " or "Handbags just like Chanel!"

- Highly-Priced Shipping Fee
E.g: Samsung Digital Camera, Price: US$ 20, Shipping Fee: US$ 180, Destination: Canada. The supplier has included produc cost in the shipping fee and in consequence, buyers are over-charged.

- Wrong Product Info
E.g: Product name is "Nokia Cellphone", but the picture shows a pair of shoes.

- Virtual Products
E.g: Game Gold, Gift Card, etc.

- Fake & Counterfeit 

- Product Info Embezzlement
E.g: Add power seller's ID in your product info so as to enhance the chance that your product is viewsed.

- Prohibited Product

- Listed Products Overlap
A product can only be listed for no more than 5 times under the same category.

- Picture With Watermark
Do not add watermark to product picture unless you are the manufacturer.
 

Prohibited & Restricted Products

Suppliers should be fully awared of these rules before listing any products. Quarkr takes no legal responsibility caused by listing the following products. Quarkr has the right to delete the product info that violates these rules and warn the corresponding supplier, suspend his account or close his account.

Prohibited Products

- Alcoholic beverages

- Counterfeit documents

- Controlled knives

- Drugs

- Equipments that can only be used with license or government permission

- Flammable, explosive, poisonous and caustic materials

- Gambling equipments

- Government and transit documents, government IDs and licenses

- Guns and ammunitions

- Human parts and remains

- Lottery tickets or lottery tools

- Mailing list

- Medical devices

- Medicines that are prohibited from sale

- Medicines that endanger human health

- Other weapons

- Police-related items and military items

- Pornographic materials

- Products that are against social norms, e.g, used clothing

- Products that fail to meet national safety or quality standards

- Products that violate intellectual property rights

- RMB in currency

- Software without serial number, unpublished software

- Things acquired through illegal methods

- Things that might endanger other people's safety or interest, or be used for illegal purpose.

- Tobacco products

- Unlicensed products

- Cultural relics

- Foreign currency

- Plants

- Stamps for collection

Tips for International Transactions

- Make sure your actions abide by the laws of both your country and the buyer's country.

- Make sure the item you are shipping out is legal in your buyer's country.
